My daughter wanted a vanity for her bedroom, a place where she could do up her makeup and other girly stuff. So here’s the process I took to build it. YEAY Woodworking!
I started in sketch up and drafted up what I thought the vanity should look like. I wanted to stretch my skills in this project, so I added Morris and Tenon joinery, even a double Tenon.
Started by cutting the Morris in the legs, a single one way and a double that overlaps the single.
Glued up the vanity top.
Rough fitting everything up together.
Working on fixing up the drawer frames.
Working on fitting up the drawers.
They some classic white paint on it.
Added a mirror that I picked up at the local Goodwill store.
I should make a matching chair at some point. But for now I’ve a happy daughter with her vanity!
